Institute Demographic Ontology
We have designed the Institute Demographic Ontology that captures the demographics of an institute's doctoral recipients and the career paths those doctoral recipients go on to pursue. It also captures factors from an end-user's perspective (either an aspiring graduate student or someone who would be interested to understand an institute's doctoral recipients demographics. We also depict how our ontology schema can support the modeling of NSF 2019 Doctoral Recipient Survey data.
